How to Use the Empty Leg Board
As a member of the CTTC you have access to an Empty Leg Jobs Board where empty legs for coach companies are posted by current members. The purpose of this Jobs Board is to allow members to communicate extra or unfilled capacity in their fleet and have members make contact with enquiries to fill this capacity.
When you click on the Empty Legs link you will be asked for a password that is only known to current members. If you need a reminder just email email@example.com. Once you enter the password you will see the Empty Legs Board which has a list of individual jobs, descriptions, locations and contact details. Jobs can be filtered by Type eg Tours, Private Hire etc and are searchable by location. The latest job always shows at the top and you can click into it to see more details and who to contact.
Post Empty Leg – You must be registered
If you want to post an empty leg then click on Post Empty Leg where you can fill in all the details required eg Email, Job Title, Type, Description, Contacts etc and you will then be able to “SUBMIT” the job. Once reviewed by our moderator it will be approved and appear on the Empty Legs Board. You will also be registered using the email address you have provided so you can “Sign In” and post further jobs. You must be registered in order to be able to post any empty leg jobs.
My Dashboard – You must be registered
Now that you have registered an Empty Leg you can review this job at any time via My Dashboard where the jobs you have posted will appear. You can see the Title, Date Posted and Listing Expiry date (after 30 days). You can mark the job as “filled” if a members has made contact and the job is no longer available. Filled jobs will not show on the “Empty Legs” board and you also have the option to delete from My Dashboard.
My Alerts – You must be registered
If you want to receive email alerts for new Empty Leg jobs then you can sign up via My Alerts where you can create a New Email Alert . This is where you can setup an Email Alert based on Keyword or Location eg Dublin and set the frequency eg Daily – Note you must be registered to receive this emails in order to comply with GDPR requirements and so you can cancel or delete your email alerts whenever you want.
